Puerto Rico Recovery Effort

In the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, Group Mission Trips has strengthened connections with partners in ministry on the island. Millions of people were left without electricity, with limited access to clean water, and with damaged homes, or no homes at all. The island was devastated and the rebuilding process will continue for years to come.

Our Role: So far, in 2018, we have mobilized more than 800 volunteers to assist in the hurricane recovery efforts in Puerto Rico. Our teams have handed out water and food, cleaned up debris, replaced roofs, and performed general maintenance for residents impacted by the hurricane. You, too, can join the recovery efforts in Puerto Rico. Check out our list of available dates by clicking the location page below, and join an upcoming trip! Don't see a date that works for you? No sweat! Give us a call at 970.800.4000; we may be able to customize a week for you.

Materials are desperately needed for the rebuilding effort, especially as we work with locals to rebuild damaged roofs. If you'd like to help with this effort, you can make a tax-deductible donation through Group Cares to help purchase supplies and materials. Your money will go directly to the rebuilding effort on the ground.

Your prayers and support are desperately needed. Please add your name to this list, and we will keep you updated as we have information available.
