Even though Alaska isn't an international destination, we include it in our international lineup because the itinerary is structured more like an international location than a domestic one.

Alaska stands as America's final frontier—beautiful, rugged, and maybe even a little dangerous to many. But for those few who call Alaska home, hardship is frequently knocking at the door, especially for the elderly. The weather can be extreme at times. There's historical tension of different cultures living in close proximity and a surprising number of homeless people (especially teenagers.) Living as an Alaskan citizen can be much different than what a tourist may experience, and we have the opportunity to help make these citizens' quality of life better and more comfortable.

Our Partners

Mazatlan Missions, founded in 2016, serves to impact lives and communities through global partners, holistic projects, and short-term volunteers transformed by each unique service-leadership cultural experience. Specifically, they coordinate the efforts of short-term service with long-term local leaders to accomplish projects that impact communities. Please fill out an interest form, or contact James with Mazatlan Missions at (719) 640-4844.

Our main ministry partnership is with Globe Creek Camp, a local Christian camp north of Fairbanks, and our teams participate in many different types of service for upkeep of their property. Program

Forged
2023 Program Theme

We all know the destruction and pain that fire can bring, but God also presents fire as purifying and refining throughout Scripture. So why would God choose fire to refine us? It separates the impurities and leaves what is valuable. Friend, when God brings or allows the fiery furnace of discomfort in our lives, it does not burn indiscriminately. It burns intentionally to make us more like Him. We can trust that it is always for our refinement and never for our destruction.

Each day we'll explore how God forges our faith. Through each powerful, transformational mission trip experience, your group will see how God wants us to know we're justified through faith and given access to his perfect peace and grace (Romans 5:1-4). Join us this summer as we explore how we're all FORGED by faith!
