What's NEW
Week of Hope?

With our goal to keep Week of Hope as an intimate, personal gathering, we’re always looking for ways to enhance our trip experiences & create more opportunities to better serve you, our partner organizations, and the communities we serve in. We’re excited to launch these new changes this summer at each Week of Hope location:

We have big plans to amplify the environment of Week of Hope by creating fun traditions and a more engaging “summer camp” experience through themed days, movie nights, a lip sync battle, bedtime stories, group games, and much more.

The intimate summer camp environment will be experienced by sharing meals together, serving alongside one another, and enjoying the fun and laughter of other camp activities. By the end of the week, it really feels like you’re a part one big family.

Meal Time

Meal times are family times – a time to settle in with the people around you and a time to enjoy conversation, laughter, and each other. Tables will be set when you enter the cafeteria. After an opening prayer, each table will be dismissed one-by-one to go through the dinner line. Fun music will set the mood and keep the energy high. Throughout the meal, we’re adding engaging elements to create a fun, lively, and interactive setting! We will share announcements and God-sightings from the day, and even have fun activities and games.

Program/Chapel Time

Our program time in the evening will become an intimate chapel setting. By creating space for meaningful and life-changing encounters with Jesus and fellowship with one another, we hope to create a more focused and intentional time for spiritual growth. This evening chapel program is shorter and includes uplifting, interactive teaching and discovery. We plan to engage in meaningful forms of worship that goes beyond singing, such as skits, videos and more.

Service Projects

Each service project is the result of a partnership we build with organizations, ministries, and individuals who live, work, and serve in each community. We plan to share more about the year-round impact of our partners through video and stories during our morning program. We want you to see the breadth of service and impact that happens in the community you serve. Ultimately, we want every person to know they are making an impact that goes beyond the week they serve. Our hope is that you walk away knowing more about what our partners do year-round, and your role in the big picture.
