Puerto Rico Recovery Effort

In the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, Group Mission Trips is trying to establish contact with our dear friends and partners in ministry on the island. The hurricane knocked out most power and cell towers so the majority on the island have been unable to communicate. Other than a few messages, we have not heard much. What we have heard is the devastation is vast, unlike anything they’ve ever seen.

Our Role: We are not an immediate response organization. Our mission teams work best by coming in after the initial clean-up phase of a disaster. That said, we are organizing teams to go to Puerto Rico in November to help in any way we can. In the meantime, you can donate through Group Cares to help purchase supplies and materials.
